3D熱潮席捲全球，為電影業帶來強大的衝擊。近年，香港製作的電影亦紛紛加入3D視覺特效，更有不少來自海外的製片商專程將3D視覺特效交由本港電影後期工作人員負責。
為了能更進一步奠定香港成為『亞洲3D電影製作後期支援基地』的地位，香港電影發展局及香港電影後期專業人員協會，將於3月22日至3月25日假香港會議展覽中心－《香港國際影視展2010》舉行期間，進行一連串交流及推廣活動。向海外製片商展示3D電影製作上日趨成熟的技術，並為本地及外海業界提供技術交流的機會。

潘永康簡介：
潘永康畢業於香港理工大學設計系及香港城市大學電腦動畫及特效文憑。其後與動畫導演桂濱先生合作組成 ManyMany Creations，期間四年來以動畫及三維電腦特技為廣告及電影製作出為人熟悉及深刻作品。而在 2008 年，創辦人潘永康就開創多一間製作室 – ManyMany Producitons – 主要以拍攝指導，製作及創意方案為客戶提供服務，配合 ManyMany Creations 後期製作支援、作品質素控制及類變得別更闊更好。而 ManyMany Productions 製作團隊以拍攝導演及動畫導演為主導，其作品在 2008 年 OMD 最佳廣告統計中有兩次以首位排在榜中。
香港專業教育學院主辦的『數碼媒體 由我創』學界資訊創作比賽，自2004年發展至今，已經成為本地學界的大型資訊科 技教育推廣活動。為進一步推動中學生數碼創意發展，香港專業教育學院獲得本地電腦遊戲及動畫各專業團體及相關機構支持，舉辦第一屆全港中學生數碼創意比賽，以鼓勵中學生將自己的創作和朋輩分享及接受專業評審…
