Art Gallery
The Art Gallery program is back by popular demand, displaying the best selection of digital and technologically mediated artwork. From pieces driven by technology to works that took a critical look at society, attendees at the Art Gallery program will be able to view thought-provoking multimedia installations, three-dimensional pieces, and works that involve kinetic, mobile or interactive media.
This year, the Art Gallery program will focus on the theme FANTAsia. Featuring works that are interactive, playful, entertaining and futuristic, the program will explore how today’s connected world has impacted artistic creations and digital expressions today.

Light Space The Stone: proposes a new form of Digital Media Installation Work which has a strong basis in modern Digital Technology

100 Full Conference Passes for local industrial — HKD1,248 Per Head
It is our pleasure to inform you that SIGGRAPH Asia will be hosted by Hong Kong for the first time in coming December at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. With the funding support from Create Hong Kong (CreateHK), Hong Kong ACM SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter will offer 100 Full Conference Passes for local industrial professionals to attend the conference for a fee of HK$1,248.

SIGGRAPH Asia Preview and Networking Session
SIGGRAPH Asia and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology invite you to a Preview Presentation of SIGGRAPH Asia 2011. SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 will be held in Hong Kong from 12-15 December 2011. The conference will feature content from technologically-mediated artwork and innovative technologies to an international showcase and presentation of animation and technical research. SIGGRAPH Asia also includes a trade exhibition showcasing hardware, software and services in computer graphics and interactive techniques.

Directions:
Getting to and from HKUST by taxi, the MTR or bus is easy, as is access by car. The map on http://www.ust.hk/eng/about/campus_gethere.htm shows you the main routes connecting Kowloon and HongKong Island to the campus. On the page you can also find more detailed directions.
The main gate of the campus features a large and easily recognizable sign with the university’s name written in both English and Chinese. Past the main gate, a gently sloping driveway leads to the Entrance Piazza with a large red sundial at its center.
Walk in to the atrium and take the escalator on your right. Keep walking straight and walk past the coffee shop. After passing the coffee shop on your left, take the escalator one level up. Keep going straight. Lecture Theater K will be on your left. A building map is available at http://www.ust.hk/images_lib/liftmap.gif.

1. Experience Sharing Seminar – Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Mission to SIGGRAPH 2011 (Vancouver)
HK ACM Siggraph Professional Chapter is going to hold Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Mission to SIGGRAPH Asia, Experience Sharing Seminar.
